The two islands consist of the Leeward Islands and Windward Islands groups. The two island groups form one section of the long chain of mainly volcanic islands that curve northeast from Venezuela in South America to Puerto Rico. The islands create a border between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
These islands were valuable stopping points in the sea journey between South America and Europe, and conflict amongst the nations in Europe were brought to the islands.
Each of the island groups at one time or another during the 17th, 18th and into the early 19th centuries, used necessity money, often in the form of cut and countermarked versions of the silver, gold and other metallic coins of whichever major nation controlled a particular island at a particular time.

class, USPS Priority, FedEx Express or FedEx group, all shipping options include insurance. We will ship overseas via eBay's Global Shipping program ONLY! And we are happy to ship to Canada but for an additional shipping fee. PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE PURCHASING FOR CANADIAN SHIPPING RATE. If you would prefer a specific carrier, please contact us ahead of time to confirm availability and additional cost.
COMBINED SHIPPING
We do offer combined shipping if you purchase multiple items. Our combined eBay shipping policy is, you pay the shipping and handling on the first item in full and ½ of each additional item. This caps at 10 items, after 10 items each additional item is free.
For combined orders of unusual size, shape, durability, or cost, an additional fee may occur.
If you are planning on purchasing multiple items please request a payment total for combined shipping, before paying.
We can also arrange pickup in store if you are local, or are traveling through.
Payment Policies
Payments will be processed through PayPal or in store. Payment is required within three days from the close of the auction. Other forms of payment can be arranged if you contact us PRIOR to the close of the auction.
Return Policies
Because of the nature of the coin business and the volatility of many of our products, we DO NOT accept returns because we would have to extend our return policy to 30 days via eBay policy which is unfeasible for us.
That being said, we do take our business seriously and we want to keep happy customers. If we made the mistake please contact us and we will fix it right away at our cost. We strive to make sure all our listings are 100% accurate and our products are shipped safely and securely, but sometimes things happen and we will fix it if it does.
If you get a coin, not to your liking, contact us immediately and we will see what we can do to fix it for you.
Because of the volatile nature of some of our products, market fluctuation IS NEVER a reason for return.
