1981 Turks & Caicos (1st Legal Tender Circulating) Quarter Crown Coin UNC (Same size as a US Quarter). Made of Copper-Nickel with a diameter of 24.3 mm and weighing 5.7 grams
. KM # 51, showing a Spiny Lobster (native to the islands and formally the biggest cash crop surpassed only by the Queen Conch) and a youngish portrait (engraved by Arnold Machin) of Queen Elizabeth II (as they are one of the few remaining Crown Colonies). These islands are not in the Caribbean, but like Bermuda and the Bahamas are in the North Atlantic.
