Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum made in the U.S.A.
Aluminum Bung is tapped 1/2 inch Tapered Thread NPT (National Pipe Thread) and fitted with a pipe plug that is Non-galling brass NPT pipe plug for a liquid and air and gasses tight fit... so it can be removed and replaced many times if needed... as long as TEFLON tape or PEMATEX or similar is used.
The aluminum fitting is 1 1/2 inch in diameter and requires a 1 1/4 inch hole ... the plug is 1
/2
inch NPT and made of high grade brass.  Brass plug requires a 3/8" Allen wrench.
