Beautiful Antique old Mesco Ghegan style telegraph Morse code sounder ham radio

For auction is an antique, MESCO (Manhattan Electrical Supply Company) telegraph Morse code "Ghegan" style sounder. Item being sold as found and has not been cleaned, cleaning will be left to the winning bidder if they choose to do so. Item is from a smoke free home. Please see all pictures as they are part of this description. Item is in excellent overall condition, but does show some areas of light wear/age. Item is intact, but has not been tested and/or transmitted with since removal from collection. Item retains it's original MESCO engraved markings as picture one displays. The wood base is original and intact as shown. Item does include all of it's matching, knurled metal parts as well. All original screws appear to be also included. As previously mentioned and shown, all parts appear to be original. Item may be missing some parts and/or need adjustment by the winning bidder to function. It is not very often these early "Ghegan" style telegraph sounders show up with every original part including the knob(s) and bottom marking(s). As previously mentioned, item may need adjustment by the winning bidder as this item has not been tested. Whether left as is or given some TLC, this sounder is an absolutely stunning piece. Item surely has much potential to be a great addition to your early CW ham radio station, antique Morse code key/sounder collection and/or vintage railroad assortment.
