    Description

    Df64 Single Dose Espresso Grinder.
Bought a flair Pro 2. Got tired of buying ground beans real fast. Did some research, determined I wanted a niche but wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much and it seemed like it was going to take forever.
Went on alibaba. Reached out, they replied that they were going to offer off in a few weeks. That coverd the shipping. He even offered to message me when the sale started.
Ordered this in white with titanium burrs. Took about 7 weeks to arrive. Looks like it spent some time going through customs in Chicago.
Got it dialed in. Works like a champ! There's a lot of heft to this thing. The bellows is awesome. The auto shutoff is great, too!
Meanwhile, I managed to score a niche. Figured I'd try each then sell the one I didn't want to keep. The Df64 are flat burrs, niche is conical. I don't notice a taste difference but i do with respect to texture. Crema from the niche is more frothy. The difference was actually quite noticeable.
That being said, the Df64 is a better grinder. I'm reasonably certain that it is the "niche killer." But I'm keeping the niche, mostly for pretense and I like the looks.
I've had this for two(?) months. I've ground no more than 3 pounds of coffee. It's good as new and you'll be happy with it. The stepless dial is accurate and consistent. I think I was grinding around 18 for my flair. Anything outside that (depending on the beans)  made my shot take too long or too short. The settings are really sensitive, every bit as much, if not more, than the niche.
I haven't cleaned it. There's really nothing to clean. I do notice there's far less static with the Df64 than with the niche. I need to get one of those micro misters. Watch James Hoffman's most recent review critically. He does his best to make it look like he's completely objective. Sometimes when people tell you what they aren't, the opposite is true.
