DESCRIPTIONFOR SALE:
This is an unusual find. It was in with a collection of antique telegraph keys. It is a very early telegraph network switch. There is a brass knife-action stitch mounted on a wood base with five brass posts for wire connections. The wood base has an embossed stamp that reads PATENT JAN 17, 1871. And there is an embossed oval that reads United NO 11. The wood base measures about 9 by 3 inches.
