Thanks for checking out this auction. I know almost nothing about slow pitch softball bats. I just happened to pick this up from a sale and when I looked it up and found out how much it can sell for, I was shocked. I am hoping to get this bat sold in to the hands of somebody who will really appreciate it. I just acquired this bat recently and know nothing about its history. It has plenty of signs of use with the paint being chipped away from the graphics (see pictures for exact wear spots) Also the grip has been redone and could use a new grip I'm sure if this bat is going to be used again. I see no visible dents or indentations of any kind on the bat.
Somebody told me they thought this bat was "starting to crack" But I honestly don't see any real signs of that. It hasn't been used recently, and the wear on the barrel of the bat is the most severe wear. I added close up photos of that part so you can decide for yourself. It looks mostly like typical paint chipping and scratches in it, but I could see an argument for some of the deeper lines to be wear a crack is beginning to form. I know these bats break down over time and slowly lose their power. I assume a bat as old as this is not going to be as good as it was the first day out.
