Description
This listing is for a 1943 dated, German Straight Hand Key for sending morse code. On the front cover It has the Lightning Bolt symbol with circle Ta.P. which is the manufacturer Taste Paula. It has the words "Vor dem offnen stecker herausziehen" which means "
Pull out the plug before opening". From my reading online these keys were made for the Wehrmacht. I have only found one other example with the blue sealant on the screws and that was on PA3EGH's website for a 1934 / 1936 dated version of this key and so based on this I believe the blue sealant to be factory original. On the bottom of the base is what looks like "Prck 1943". The color looks black but under a flash photo the bakelite is brown with hints of red in the color. No chipping, cracks or issues. The lid and connector for the cable harness have a circle with T6 over a T1. This key may be the elusive two spring version ass there is a coil spring in the front right side of the key and a spring under the rear
adjustment
screw. On the web it stated the two spring version sent soft key notes. Everything looks original and in very nice condition. A very rare unaltered item as most are missing the cords and plugs. This thing belongs in a museum. Buyer pays .00 USPS shipping and handling in the 48 States which includes insurance for 0 and I do not ship out of the country anymore.
