This Ham-Key straight key has a gray crackle iron base and three black rubber feet with a chrome triumph style lever. It is distinctive looking with its bright red plastic fulcrum assembly and red plastic Navy knob. The electrical connections are the black and red binding post terminals on the rear of the key. There is a chrome label with red letters on the rear of the base marked "HAM-KEY, HAM RADIO CENTER, INC. ST LOUIS, MO." Ham-Key was a popular Amateur Radio key manufactured during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. This key looks brand new and it is in excellent condition.
