INFO-TECH M-200F CW & TELETYPE RTTY CONVERTER, HF amateur radio, SWL DX
I bought a pile of test equipment and this was in the group. I just pulled it out, connected the audio cable from my AOR 7030 to it and connected the output to an older TV. I tuned the CW portion of the 20m band & the output is what you see on the TV. I had a lot of interference with competing stations and I haven't done much with tuning in data stations (whether CW or RTTY) with these decoders, so I could well be tuning incorrectly.
But it does seem to be decoding some of the data correctly (some names are visible in the mix). My guess is that these are an all or nothing type of unit--either everything works or it doesn't. Thus, my assumption is that the data decoding is working normally for one of these units across all of the settings. BUT I don't know that for sure, so I'm listing this as "For parts or not working."
One issue that I did notice is that the video sync seems to not be locking in properly (flickering & curling to the right in the top 1/3 of the screen). I'm not sure if this is a problem with the video output of the M-200F or the cable that I used.
I switched cables, so I think there might be a problem with the video output. I'll try to get more photos up today
