    Description

This is a Kent Morse code key iambic paddles. It does not have a model number on it. It came from a New England collector's estate. This person was an enthusiast and repairer of ham radios and related items. This item comes with NO original packaging or manuals. It is UNTESTED and being sold AS-IS. The nameplate on the top reads "Kent Preston England PR46BY". The base is approx. 4 by 3 inches. The entire piece is approx. 1 3/4 inches tall and 4 3/8 inches from the end of the paddles to the back of the unit. It has minimal wear and some patina. The right paddle moves slightly and makes a tapping sound when touched but the left paddle does not.
This item weighs approx. 2 lb. 12.2 oz. before a box or any packing materials. Free local pickup is available upon request.
I have other Morse code paddles and some ham radios from this same estate listed this week.
Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
    Displayed delivery dates are
    estimates
    and are
    not guaranteed.
My handling time is 2 days. Despite that, most items are shipped same or next day after payment.
    Sellers exert
    no control
over the package once in the possession of the shipping provider, including, but not limited to, how long the package stays in any one place, how often the tracking is updated, or what route the package takes to its destination.
By bidding, you agree to the displayed shipping charges. If not, don't buy from me. I have the receipts to prove to eBay that I pay for shipping what I charge for shipping. I use
    calculated shipping
    .
    Calculated shipping
means that I enter the weight and dimensions of the package and
    eBay
calculates the cost based on the selected provider and service. The displayed price is coming straight from
    eBay
, not me, and is what the shipping provider will charge me to ship your item. I cannot control how much the shipping providers charge for their services.
I combine shipping when possible. Some items are too large and/or heavy to ship together.
A combined invoice will be provided the following morning after the auction ends barring any weather or other events that keep me out of work.
As with all of my auctions, if there is not a buy-it-now price, there will not be.
I ship to verified addresses only. I will
    cancel
the order if asked to ship to a different address
since it is a violation of eBay's rules
    .
For international orders, I do not ship directly to international addresses. I ship to the eBay Global Shipping Hub.
eBay does not allow combined invoices for items purchased through the Global Shipping Program. Some costs paid for purchases made through the Global Shipping Program are paid directly by the buyer to the third party who runs the Global Shipping Program and cannot be refunded by the seller.
Refunds for returns or damages will be for the original purchase price less the shipping charges.
    Thanks for looking.
    ******A NOTE ON SHIPPING******
It has been brought to my attention that there are times when the shipping cost eBay is calculating and displaying on some listings are lower than what the shipping cost ends up being at checkout. The price at checkout has been the correct price in my experience. I have brought this issue to eBay's attention but it is something I cannot control. I have no hard feelings if this happens and you prefer to cancel the transaction.
    From USPS:
    "Dimensional Weight
    The
    dimensional weight price
may be applied to Priority Mail® parcels, USPS Retail Ground parcels, Parcel Select parcels, and Global Express Guaranteed® parcels, but use and calculation of that price is different for those mail classes.
The calculated dimensional weight may be applied if the package exceeds 1 cubic foot in volume.
Postage price of the item is based on the actual weight OR the calculated dimensional weight,
    whichever is greater.
"Determining Dimensional Weight for Rectangular Parcels
Follow these steps to determine the dimensional weight for a rectangular parcel:
Measure the length, width, and height in inches. Round off
each measurement to the nearest whole inch.
Multiply the length by the width by the height.
If the result exceeds 1,728 cubic inches, divide the result by 166 and round up
to the next whole number to determine the dimensional weight in pounds.
If the dimensional weight exceeds 70 pounds, the customer pays the 70-pound price."
FedEx and UPS use dimensional weight on all packages when applicable.
Just because an item is light does not mean it will not cost much to ship. If that light item is large, the shipping providers use
    dimensional weight
    to determine cost, not the
    actual physical weight.
