I state WWII Signal Corps however there are no stamps that I see. The Lionel "L" molded into the base bottom. Bakelite base (tested with rub and smell) has a few edge chips. In my photos I noticed that the screw to the left of the key looks like it has cracks around it, that is just some dust strands, I inspected it carefully and it's not cracked. All of the brass thumbscrews turn easily. Key moves smoothly with a good spring. On/off switch sets fine. The aluminum parts show surface oxidation. The brass parts also show original patina. Some paint wear on the black metal cast oval shaped top base. No box or paperwork.
