Tools Needed:
Two Piece Putter Grip
2″ Double Sided Tape
Odorless Mineral Spirits
Utility Knife with a Hooked Blade
Utility Knife with a Straight Blade
Vice with Golf Club Adapter
To begin, remove any pre-existing grip with a hook-blade utility knife. Make sure to cut away from yourself. Then peel off the old tape by hand. (

Assume your desired putting address and place hands on bare shaft. Have a friend use a Sharpie and mark the top/bottom position of your lower hand. Take the bottom section of the two-piece grip and center the two marks from your lower hand in the center of the bottom grip section. Use a Sharpie and mark the top/bottom position of the bottom grip. (

Take the upper grip section and make sure there is ample room on the shaft to accommodate proper installation/fit.(

Once confirmed, secure the club in a vise just below the grip using a protective rubber vise clamp. Make sure the club is facing perpendicular. Use 2” two-way tape and apply on the shaft to the lowest mark on the shaft (lowest side of the bottom grip section). (

Use the odorless mineral spirits and wet the tape area and inside of the bottom grip. (

Slide bottom grip section onto shaft to the end of the grip tape. Align front of grip to desired location. (

Use straight blade to remove grip tape from shaft and then wipe shaft clean of any tape residue above and below bottom grip. (

Once shaft is clean, take the upper grip and hold it next to the shaft, applying a mark with a Sharpie as to where the end of the upper grip will be on the shaft once installed. Use 2” two-way tape and apply on the shaft to the indicated mark on the shaft. (

Use odorless mineral spirits and wet the tape area and inside of the upper grip. (

Slide the upper grip section onto the shaft completely until the shaft comes in contact with the butt end of the upper grip section. Align front of upper grip section to the desired location. (

Use straight blade to remove grip tape from shaft and then wipe shaft clean of any tape residue. (

Lastly, double check to make sure the grip is on straight and is squared to the clubface. The grip can be adjusted for a few minutes after installation. Allow enough time for drying before using the club. Recommended 24 hours of drying time. (
