NEW W1SFR Horizontal Straight Key/Right or Left Hand version

This key is also available in a Left Hand version. When you order just indicate you want a left hand version, otherwise you will receive a right hand key. The images are of a Left Hand Key. The right hand version is the same but the contact post is on the other side and the finger piece faces right instead of left.
The latest edition to my lineup of single lever handmade keys. It features my patent pending torsion bar design. No springs. No magnets. The lever is made of super lightweight aluminum. Other parts are hand made, hand turned brass. Finger piece is made of exotic hardwood and hand shaped and finished. The action is VERY quiet, very smooth and the contact spacing can be as close as you like and you get no stutter or bounce.
Rather than the up and down motion of the standard straight key, the horizontal motion is much easier on the hand, wrist and body in general. You can go all day and not feel fatigued.
The mechanism is mounted on a genuine piece of Vermont Green marble quarried just over the mountain from me. The figuring in the base is never the same from piece to piece but it's always beautiful.
