"Rib Roast" exhibits a rural kitchen. A Rib Roast lies  waiting to be cooked. The Chef enjoys a Blatz.   I love studying color, balance and the overall chiaroscuro in painting, which I exhibit in this painting.  Along with the contrast of beauty and simplicity.
I am a Chicago artist, with 15 years experience painting since my graduation from the Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago.  I love to study the techniques of color and light. Some of the well known artists who inspire my work are Raphael, Titian, Botticelli, Bellini, Jon Van Eyck, Caravaggio , Francisco Goya, J.M.W. Turner, Caspar David Friedrich, and William Blake.
