Perfect pale green color...Lefton calls the color Harvest Green but to me it is more of a pale celadon green. The flowers on each plate and matching cup is hand painted - not a decal or transfer....HAND PAINTED porcelain. The scallop shaped 8" plates are perfectly designed to hold in your hand. In excellent , remarkable condition as are the tea cups - ready for table use condition.
I do NOT recommend anything but hand washing , with proper care this set is worthy a heirloom.
