For auction is a vintage, WWII era McElroy Telegraph Apparatus model CP810 Morse code CW key. Item being sold as found and has not been cleaned, cleaning will be left to the winning bidder if they choose to do so. Item is from a smoke free home. Please see all pictures as they are part of this description. Item is in good overall condition considering it's age, but does show wear/age. Item does function, but may need adjustment by the winning bidder to fit their sending style. No other testing was done. Please note this item has all original parts and all original, matching metal knurled parts. Item retains it's original metal ID plate as picture four indicates. Item was also found with it's shorting lever functioning, as it does move both ways correctly. Item includes both it's original finger pieces/knob and also includes it's original shorting lever knob as well. Please note picture seven as item was also found with all three of it's original bottom feet present and intact. Item also includes it's original and hard to find metal weight with matching screw. These vintage bugs are not super rare, but this is a very nice piece due to it's completeness and all original parts being present. With a little TLC by the winning bidder if they choose to do so, this item does have potential to make a nice addition to your telegraph key collection and/or CW ham radio set(s).
