This rare/unusual vintage authentic Peachtree Road Race Full Zip Polyethylene Jacket dates to the early or mid-1980s, was never worn, has been in storage for at least 35 years, and is in pristine condition.  The jacket is white over orange with blue trim, and the front features a Peachtree 10K Road Race logo on the left side of the chest. The upper back has a larger version of the Peachtree 10K logo overwritten with July 4th and below it is “Largest 10K Race in the World”.  The colors and graphics are very sharp and strong, and there are no noticeable holes, rips, tears, pulls, stains, smudges, marks, fading, or other signs of wear, and the zipper is fully functional. The zipper is fully functional.
This jacket was made by Spot in Italy and apparently imported by SH Truax & Co, Venice CA. It is 100% polyethylene and is labeled L--but it is best to rely on the measurements. They are about 22 inches from underarm to underarm (that is, 44 inches in circumference), 22 inches from the top of the zipper to the bottom of the garment, and 26 inches from the top of the collar to the bottom of the back side. It measures 6.5 inches from the collar seam to the shoulder seam, and 24 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve, which has 2¼ inch navy blue ribbed elastic cuffs as does the hem (the collar has similar trim).
